Great results for the ISF Badminton Teams

On Dec 5-7, 2019 the SV ISF badminton teams participated in the annual GISST competition. The U14 players were hosted by Berlin British School and the Varsity team visited the International School of Hannover.

The Varsity boys team kept their title and finished first place for the second year in a row. The U14 boys team won the second place in their age category. These results are outstanding, given that the U14 boys number 1 seed had to miss the tournament due to injury. Both girls' teams finished fifth. Several beginners are now playing for the girls' teams, so this result can be seen as a strong achievement and stepping stone for the future. The teams are looking forward to continuing to practice, compete and improve their results for next year.

Thank you, Coach Jack Morton preparing the U14 and Varsity teams and all teachers (Peter Scholz, Shaveta Chugh, Uli Groh) who traveled with the teams and supported the players through this high-level tournament.
