School Meals

A hot lunch is offered daily by our on-site caterer VielfaltMenü.

VielfaltMenü offers a balanced diet for students and is an important aspect of the healthy development and performance of the students. Every day, 2 menus are offered, one of which is always vegetarian. The menus include a main course, dessert or fruit and a drink. In addition, the children can choose fresh salads at the salad bar. 

VielfaltMenü also offers catered snacks to our Kindergarten and Preschool students for an additional fee.

SNACK AND BEVERAGE

Kiosk:

All students from Grade 1 onwards can shop at the kiosk with their student card. For this purpose, the card must be topped up in cash at the kiosk. Cash payment is also possible at the kiosk. The opening hours depend on the break times of the students. In addition, the kiosk is open daily in the morning from 7.45 – 9.00 am and in the afternoon from 2.30-4.30 pm. A price list and detailed opening hours can be found on the school's website.

Vending machines for drinks:

1 vending machine in the foyer is available to the children at any time against cash payment.

The VielfaltMenü are posted one month ahead on SABIS® Digital Platform and are also available from School Reception for parents who would like to plan their children's meals ahead.

 

Transportation

ISF has excellent train, motorway, and school bus connections to Frankfurt to the east and Wiesbaden to the west and is located near the popular expatriate towns and villages in the Taunus hills. It is also easily accessible by train or by car from Wiesbaden.

Transportation for students to and from ISF is possible via a number of means:

Travel by Train

For those opting for public transport within the Frankfurt-Rhein-Main area, the S-Bahn stops Sindlingen (S1) and Zeilsheim (S2) bring students within a five-minute walk of the campus. Many students and teachers take the S-Bahn to and from school.

Bus Services

A “door to door” service is offered by private taxi companies and provides an alternative to public transport.
