Dear ISF Community and Prospective Families,

It is a genuine pleasure to welcome you to the International  School Frankfurt Rhein-Main (ISF). Whether you are joining us for the first time or returning for another year, I am delighted that you have chosen to be part of our vibrant, international community. ISF has a proud history, a clear identity, and a shared commitment to helping every student flourish. The entire ISF team and I look forward to working alongside you and your children as we continue to build something exceptional together.

At ISF, we believe that every student deserves an education that is rigorous, personalised, and future‑focused. Our academic programme – grounded in the SABIS^® Educational System and strengthened by more than 140 years of global educational expertise – ensures consistency, clarity, and measurable progress for every learner. Through structured planning, regular assessment opportunities, and targeted support, we make sure that no learning gaps go unnoticed and that every student is set up for long‑term success. Because of this, ISF has a reputation for excellence - our students consistently achieve excellent academic outcomes, and our school is recognised among top‑performing IB schools both in Germany and worldwide.

We offer flexible graduation pathways tailored to individual goals, including the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme, Advanced Placement (AP) courses, and a route to German Abitur equivalence, all of which can be achieved in 12 years and give students a a meaningful advantage when entering university. Our dedicated university counselling team also works closely with students to support their ambitions and guide them toward leading universities around the world.

Our World Language programme reflects our belief in a future in which communication and cultural intelligence are key. English is the primary language of instruction, complemented by daily German and additional languages such as Spanish, French, Korean, and Japanese. We also maintain a strong German curriculum, including classical and contemporary literature, ensuring that both German and international students develop deep linguistic competence and cultural awareness.

Beyond academics, ISF is a school where students grow as people. The SABIS Student Life Organization^® (SLO^®) – fully integrated into the school day – empowers students to lead initiatives, develop confidence, practise teamwork, and gain practical life skills that prepare them for university and beyond.

We are also fortunate to provide outstanding facilities that enrich student life, including specialist sports areas and our own onsite swimming pool, as well as access to expert coaching through our extensive Sports Academy. Sport plays a central role in promoting wellbeing, resilience, and character, and we are committed to helping every student discover an activity they love.

We are equally grateful for our Parent Network (PN), which welcomes families, builds community, and brings our campus to life through events and volunteer opportunities. Their dedication is an essential part of what makes ISF so special.
