ISF Drama Club’s production of High School Musical Jr. was a HUGE success!

ISF Drama Club’s production of High School Musical Jr. was a HUGE success! I am so very proud of the cast and crew. It has been quite a journey with this year’s company. I feel the students have learned a lot about commitment, dedication, and time management as well as learning the ins and outs of putting on a show, resulting in a very fine production.  Also, I feel this show’s story gives students insight into the age old question: stick to the status quo or break free and be yourself? I am grateful for the international culture we have here at ISF in which students are encouraged to be all they can be. We must remember that all creating a well rounded child means embracing Fine Arts as well as academics, and sports. And finally this production could not have happened without the assistance of my dedicated and wonderful colleagues: Andrea Odendaal, Shane McDaniel, and Hailey Forsyth. Also special thanks to Angela Shi and Adrienne Hannon for their support in a myriad of ways. We will be looking at possible new shows for next year’s show, which we hope to announce before the end of the school year. It has been a fun and fantastic school year!
