At ISF, we offer two summer school sessions and a variety of sport camps during the month of July.
Summer School Kindergarten to Grade 6
ISF Primary Summer School, which takes place during July, offers ISF and non-ISF students up to Grade 6 an opportunity which is both educational and fun. The ISF Primary Summer School is ideal for students of working parents, newly enrolled students, and non-ISF students who would like to improve their math and language skills.
Students can enroll in half-day (mornings only) or full-day programs and Grades 1 to 6 can choose to follow an academic program or themed weeks.
In the academic program, classes in English, German, and math are taught in the mornings from 9:00 to 12:30. Afternoon activities include music, sport, crafts and games as well as field trips to local attraction on Thursdays. In the past few years, students have visited the Opelzoo, Palmengarten, Hessenpark, Schloss Freudenberg, Saalburg, ExperiMINTa, EXPLORA, and a local fire station to see the work of the fire department.
Themed weeks in the past have included the airport, communication, environment, nutrition, the ocean, recycling, science, and traffic and road safety.
Delicious and nutritional lunches are provided by Sodexo, the school caterer. Supervision from 8:00 to 17:45 is available on request.
Children may be enrolled for half or full days and for periods from one to four weeks. Discounts on tuition are offered for the three or four week enrollment.
More details about our Primary Summer School may be found in the flyers (English, German, Korean) and application form.
