Mr Slesser visits the Chinese Consulate Last week Mr Slesser was honoured to be invited to meet Mr Wang, the new Consul General of the People´s Republic of China in the Chinese Consulate in Frankfurt. ISF has a growing number of students from China including the children of members of the Consulate staff and of employees of major Chinese banks located in Frankfurt. Last year ISF and the Chinese Consulate organised jointly a gala concert to celebrate the beginning of the Chinese new year. Mr. Wang told Mr. Slesser that that he knew of the excellent reputation of ISF. Mr Wang said that it was vital for any family coming from China to be able to join a top-class international school such as ISF. Mr Slesser told Mr Wang that he was pleased to have Chinese students in ISF as part of the ISF international family and said that he was sure that the excellent Chinese students in ISF`s senior grades would be graduating soon to attend world-class universities throughout the world. In the Consulate, Mr Slesser had the opportunity to see a beautiful collection of Chinese works of art and pottery. He extended an invitation to Mr. Wang to visit ISF in the near future. He told Mr Wang that China will feature at our ISF Sommerfest in on 20th May, as part of our “Taste of the World”.
