Mid-Winter Concert

On Tuesday, February 7th students in Grades 6, 7, and 8 performed in the Mid-Winter Concert.  In 2015, the music department was proud to begin the ensemble program for middle school. Each student in Grades 6-8 chooses to be a member of Band, Choir, or Strings ensemble.  All ensembles meet once a week to rehearse and prepare for school performances.  This concert showcased the hard work all ensembles put forth this school year.

Choir is under the direction of Mrs. Rucker.
String Orchestra is under the direction of Ms. Atanassova.
Band is under the direction of Mr. Sobolak.
 
The choir’s performance featured solos from: Ava F., Diane P., Dhwani S., and Varsha S., Natalya O., Nell M., Leonard K., Aneta T., and Florian L..

Thank you to all parents and friends who were able to attend this wonderful, musical event. A special thank you goes to all of our music students and directors for giving such a memorable and enjoyable performance. We would also like to thank our Music teachers for all the hard work which went into this wonderful concert.
We look forward to seeing you again at the Summer Concerts in June!
